Director of DOC:CO. Consultant for circulation strategies for different Latin American institutions. Director of co-productions at 2.35 Digital and consultant for documentary projects at various international events. She was the coordinator of the technical unit of DOCTV Latinoamérica and a consultant for the Cinematography Department of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia. In 2017, she created the production company Romeo: laboratorio + películas, where she supports the development, production, and distribution of films alongside an established network of contacts in Latin America. She is currently in post-production for the feature film Perfume de Gardenias, a co-production with Puerto Rico and winner of the Colombian Film Development Fund, the Ibermedia Fund, and the TFI Latin America Fund. She is also developing Carlos Lechuga's next film, Vicenta B, in co-production with Claudia Calviño, and the documentary Río Rojo, produced by the French production company Stank and directed by Guillermo Quintero.
Jennifer Argáez Urrego
Social communicator with an emphasis on digital journalism. Since 2010, she has worked as a producer and director on projects for public television channels (Telemedellín and Teleantioquia), and as a writer and editor of digital content for private companies (Grupo Videobase) and for projects from state entities (Maguaré Strategy of the Ministry of Culture and Mi Señal from Señal Colombia – RTVC). She led digital communication for Señorita María, la falda de la montaña by Rubén Mendoza, and since 2018 has been part of the digital strategy and social media team at DOC:CO.
Marcela Lizcano
Marcela Lizcano is a director and creative producer. Her documentary feature “Aislados” participated in over 30 festivals and won more than 6 international awards. She directed the short films: “La vida ej así” in the Werner Herzog author workshop at the EICTVAntes del mar”, “enterrados” and “Retratos”Along with the IOM and the Center for Memory, she made the documentaryMujeres en resistencia”With her company Viceversa Cineshe develops and produces works with an auteur vision related to new media, art, and human rights, including the feature films “A Loss Of Something Ever Felt” de Carlos Lesmes which premiered at HOTDOCS 2020 “Suspensión” by Simón Uribe, which premiered at IDFA 2019,and the virtual reality project in co-production with Canada, COLLAB VR exhibited at NEXT CANNES 2018. She is currently a workshop leader for the rolling cinematheque, the ENACC, and the impact workshops taught by DOC:CO LABS."
Leonardo Gómez
Graphic Design professional from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and self-taught illustrator, with more than 3 years of experience in the field. In cinema, he has created graphics and developed pieces for the films: Suspension, Biabu Chupea, On The Other Side, Las Mejores Familias, Jairo's Revenge, Amparo, If God Were a Woman, A Mother, The City of Wild Bests, Fósforos Mojados, Alis, A Male. As an illustrator, he has participated in various independent editorial publications and illustrated books for different countries.
