To the south of Colombia, in the middle of the jungle, there is a large abandoned concrete structure with no purpose. A bridge that crashes against the mountain and leads nowhere. This work symbolizes humanity's obsession with overcoming the impenetrable obstacles posed by nature, and also the corruption that reduces such a pursuit to ashes and empty efforts. After nearly a century of attempts, the dream of modern highways fades, and the most absurd situations rise up as lost highways. Workers, engineers, and tourists move through the theater of the illusory and the blurred; all seem stranded in time, and time also allows for disasters.
SUSPENSION takes us down a delirious path of frustrated dreams, human failures, and the uncontrollable force of nature, becoming a bitter metaphor for the Colombian State."
